In 1998 Isabelle Qian Wei Ming was the manager of one of the leading clothing companies established in China. Subsequently she resolved to start her own business and set up a fashion design company specializing in the creation and production of knitwear collections on behalf of famous French clients. The encounter with Michael Haerens, belgian but resident in Italy, marketing specialist, resulted into the establishment of Pacific Union Group. During these years Pacific Union Group started collaborations with many different factories, where quality control (Q.C.) of production is guaranteed by a team of Italian managers and technicians working together. Pacific Union’s Q.C. system is based on the Italian system. Quality for us begins with the selection and purchase of raw materials, operations in which the customer is always involved. Our suppliers list is filled with factories directly controlled by Pacific Union Group, or where we own dedicated production lines. After 10 years of operation the head offices of the Group are still based in Shanghai but, during this timeframe, the company has further reinforced its positioning by opening offices on the Italian, Spanish, French and Australian markets fully dedicated to Customer care and technical Service. In October of 2015 Pacific Union Group opened the USA branch based in New York City that caters to all US markets. New office developments are foreseen in Japan, South Africa, and Northern Europe.
