TSA International (Traffic Signals and Accessories) (TSA) was established in 1995 by Glen Pillay, a Durban-based entrepreneur. While the initial goal was to produce a reliable and costeffective range of traffic signal lights, TSA has since evolved into a transport solutions company offering turnkey solutions in traffic light management, vehicle data collection, law enforcement, street lighting, solar monitoring and variable message signage with the focus on being SMART. The company is now ranked amongst the top three leading intelligent transport systems (ITS) provider companies in Southern Africa. While based in Durban, the business has expanded to having representation in most countries in Africa, and TSA also has offices in Tanzania, Mozambique, Dubai, India and a manufacturing plant in China.
