I help SMEs and solo-entrepreneurs to run their business smoothly by looking for a comparison between the parties involved in conflicts. Some problems or issues take a lot of time and energy from a business owner. Engaging a lawyer or going to court seems just a step too far. Then mediation is a good solution. Mediation makes it possible to find a solution faster and, because there are no fees or legal costs, also cheaper. The mediator is an independent person who, based on the input of the various parties, works with them to find an agreement that all parties can agree with. Off course this agreement is formalized according to the rules of the art. That way all parties involved know what to expect from each other and what not. Mediation can be initiated by one or more of the parties involved. When mediation starts, this can be done in different places: • my office (neutral, business and discreet office) • office of one of the parties • location to be determined, eg a meeting room in a hotel or business center I mediate in Flanders and Brussels and they are possible in English, French and Dutch.
