We make deep, interesting ciders leveraging our large, heritage apple orchard. These 100-yr old gorgeous trees have roots deep into the mineral-rich soil, and produce stunning juice and even better cider. By heritage we also mean a long-standing commitment to our common heritage of a living, breathing earth. Our careers have been entirely focussed on accelerating the global shift to a low-carbon economy, and we bring that bent to this family project. This particular land is clearly our kids' emerging heritage, a reflection our larger, shared ecosystem. The property was known to move booze south during prohibition (we're right on the Vermont border) as well as earlier being a first safe haven for slaves fleeing north on the Underground Railroad. Right side of history, both times. Now comes the work. ;) Ideally a labour of love.
