The Illinois Association of the Deaf (IAD) is a non-profit organization that strives to promote advancement of the social, educational, and economic well-being of the deaf and hard of hearing citizens of Illinois. IAD works with other organizations at the state and National levels to share information and undertake similar efforts. IAD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by individual, corporate membership and donors. All officers and committee members voluntarily contribute their time, business and social skills, and efforts to support and run the organization.
