Founded by Dr. Patrick Kerr, an industry renowned neck expert, Kerr Sports is on a mission to reduce serious head and neck injuries sustained during football. With this mission in mind, Kerr Sports launched its first product, the Kerr Collar. The Kerr Collar has been in development for 10 years, after extensive research and testing conducted at Virginia Tech Center for Injury Biomechanics and with Division 1 Football programs around the country. The goal of the Kerr Collar is to reduce the forces generated during collision in a typical football tackle and prevent players from suffering severe concussions and other head and neck injuries during play.
