When ink is transferred to the surface of the paper, it suddenly becomes something tangible and real. We took inspiration from an idiom commonly used in the English language: Where the rubber meets the road. The literal meaning of this sentence is: when a theory or idea is put to test or when things get serious. It is “The Moment of Truth”. We have found the link with this sentence due to the fact that, in the offset printing process, there is a rubber blanket that transfers the ink from the metal printing plate onto the paper. It is a magical moment.
