Obong University is a four-year private university located in Obong Ntak, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria affiliated with Churchs of Christ. Founded in 1997 as African College of Management, the following year change identity to becoming the University of Africa with degree-granting privileges supported by a partner school, and finally settled into the current identity after gaining accreditation by Nigerian University Commission (NUC) to grant degree as Obong University on May 2, 2007. The university has academic relations with its sister high-school - Obong Christian School (founded 1986). Obong University is built on Christian values, under stringent and highest standards of academic excellence.
