In 2004, founder Darryl Curtis became a Garmin dealer and Bandit GPS was formed. A decade later, Bandit GPS and Boltons GPS Warehouse merged and Navworld was born. In 2015, Darryl's continuous involvement with off-road racing and the Dakar Rally fueld a need for off-the-grid connectivity. After exiting Navworld, Curtis Mobile was founded in order to pursue satellite communication solutions. Curtis Mobile has partnered up with amazing brands businesses such as Goal Zero, SPOT satellite tracking, Immarsat, Globecomm, Pisen, Cobham, Micro-start and Energizer. We have also partnered up with African Stuff and have developed a tracking platform and other products designed specifically for off road racing. Curtis Mobile is proud to supply connectivity to the Red Bull KTM Factory team, Overdrive, Toyota SA and several other Dakar race teams.
