East West Line Parks Ltd (EWLP) is the company behind the promotion of Project Iron Boomerang (PIB). PIB is a major nation building infrastructure project supporting Australia’s iron ore, coal and steel industries. PIB involves a transcontinental rail link between the coal regions of Queensland and the iron ore region of Western Australia to facilitate the location of ‘industrial parks’ of steel smelting operations at each State with links to port facilities on the coasts of both States.
