‘Altera Architecture and Consultancy Co.’ is established by two shareholders Esra Gömceli ÖZGÜN– Architect (METU) and Özbek Ölek – Civil Engineer (METU) on 2004 and moved to own office in Kuzguncuk – İstanbul on 2008. Firm strategy is based on clear and continuous corporate relations, both with clients and subcontractors. After 9 years working period and almost 90 projects, Altera worked with totally 5 main customer, VAKKO (17 stores), ARKAS (8 projects) , ABN AMRO (headquarter an 9 branches), DEMSA (Two 7-storey building), AFM CINEMAS (7 cinema complexes), which constitute almost 80% of the projects. Other important clients and projects, conducted by altera, are INTEL Turkey Offices, NCR Headquarters, VERIFONE Turkey Offices, Royal Bank of Scotland Headquarters, Inditex group /Stradivarius, Prada Group / Miu Miu, Goldaş, Tally Weijl Abdi İbrahim Headquarters, Altıoklar Productions, Neyir, Delta Engineering, KEBA Turkey Offices, World Courier etc. Altera has wide experience on projects designed abroad and implemented in TURKEY. Concept projects of Mothercare, Stradivarius, Miu Miu, Tally Weijl stores were prepared by foreign architects and most of the furniture components came from abroad. Projects and designs of INTEL, NCR, VERIFONE, RBS, ABN AMRO, KEBA are prepared by altera but construction management facilities were done incorporation with foreign construction management companies.
