CNG has implemented and maintains a Quality Management System which fulfills the requirements of the standard ISO 9001:2000 as certified by the IQNet and ICONTEC. CNG is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Colombian Ministry of Education. CNG is organized in four schools: Primary School (Kinder 4, Kinder 5, 1st and 2nd grade), Elementary School (3ed, 4th and 5th grades), Middle School (6th, 7th and 8th grades) and High School (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades). Both the High School and the Colombian Bachillerato diplomas are offered. Ninety eight percent (98%) of the students attend college or university. The average class size is 23. All classes are taught in English except Colombian social studies and Spanish. Formal advanced Placement courses are offered in 20 subjects. Pre-Ap courses are offered in 22 subjects. There is an Enrichment Program in the primary and elementary schools. Student Services supports students with special needs and learning difficulties. The school campus and activities are smoke-free environments. School year begins in August and ends in June. The CNG community is made up of 33 nationalities (57% Colombian, 10% U.S., 22% dual (U.S-Colombian) and 11% from other nationalities.
