PFHC is a privately owned Practice which has been providing health care in the Franklin Community for the last 70 years. The Practice has a large team of health practitioners working as an interdisciplinary team . There is a second satellite clinic at Newsham Park. We are a ProCare Practice and hold Cornerstone Accreditation. We are part of the DHB Enhanced General Practice project and have been introducing Health Care Home (HCH) concepts since 2010. We would be considered a large Practice by New Zealand standards. The General Practice is supported by on-site Acute Care clinics for registered and non registered patients (called 'On the Day') - a Clinic for children under 11 years needing acute care (called 'Little Feet') And independent business units which include: X-Ray, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Laboratory (LabTests) and Physiotherapy.
