This program: - Enhances your chances of gaining employment in IT - Contributes toward the ACS IT Skills Assessment result - Is approved by the immigration department and offers potential eligibility for 5 migration points - Includes an IT internship with a company in Australia Focusing on quality first, we are passionate about providing you with the Australian workplace and employability skills to be competitive in the Australian IT job market. The PYP (ICT) is a Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) approved and Australian Computer Society (ACS) accredited program for international students who have graduated in IT at either the undergraduate or postgraduate level from an Australian university. The program bridges the gap between university education and employment in IT in Australia and aims to improve the employability of graduates in the Australian IT sector. The program runs for a minimum of 44 weeks including a 12 week of internship in IT with a company in Australia. The program has also been specified by the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection for the General Skills Migration points test for all eligible holders of the 485 Temporary Residency Graduate Visa or Bridging Visa. On successful completion participants may be awarded 5 migration points under the Skilled Occupation List (SOL).
