Centre for Family Research and Evaluation (CFRE)
www.ds.org.auThe Centre for Family Research and Evaluation is a collaborative, applied research centre. It was established in 2006 as an entity of drummond street services, with aims to bridge the gap between research and practice in family-based programs. We work with agencies dedicated to improving child and family well-being, from sectors such as family and parenting services, education and early childhood. We aim to contribute practice-based research and outcome evaluations to the evidence-base. Our key work with agencies involves providing support to build their capacity to make strategic decisions, monitor the quality and progress of their services and programs, as well as evaluate the impact of their work.
