Founded by two local Hamiltonians, Burnt Tongue opened its first location’s door on Supercrawl weekend of 2013. Our menu at the time featured only a daily rotation of fresh soups and hand cut Belgian frites. As time has passed, customer requests and feedback has expanded the menu to add salads, sandwiches, burgers and number of daily specials across three locations and with a fourth in the making. At our Burnt Tongue locations, we strive to bring people together through the bonding qualities of food and hospitality. We believe that accessibility to healthy and delicious food is a big part of the revitalization of our great city. We pride ourselves on always using fresh, locally sourced ingredients while providing a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests.
