Gig Mill Primary School was established in 1984 by the amalgamation of the previous Junior and Infant Schools. Both of the original schools were built in the 1950's - with spacious classrooms, halls, and a school kitchen. This year 2015 , three new classrooms have been built to create, as part of the local authority, 'place planning' - an extra fifteen school places for each of the next three years. Our Nursery was added in 1991. The school is situated on the edge of Stourbridge in a pleasant, residential area and the children come from a mixture of private and council housing.
