The First Hungarian Gin Manufactory. In 2018 we received the bonded warehouse distilling license as the first genuine gin distillery in Hungary. It allowed us to distil gin using neutral grain spirit and natural botanicals and spices. Reviving the forgotten tradition of distilleries within the city walls of Budapest, we installed our distillery in a warehouse on the premises of the former Hungarian Cotton Factory (established in 1882) in the 4th district. At the end of 2020 we opened our flagship bar, the Sfinx Gin and Wine Bar, on the most beautiful boulevard in Budapest, Andrássy Avenue.
