Nestled into the West Hills of Portland on the Blatter family’s fourth generation farm, Cornell Farm has been providing customers from all over the Northwest with the finest plants for their gardens, homes, and offices since 1987. On Fourth of July weekend in 2016, the cafe at Cornell Farm opened its doors in the historic, 1926 farmhouse centered on the property. The farmhouse was lovingly converted while preserving the original details, charming architecture, built-ins, and fixtures inside and out. Cafe manager and executive chef, Daniel Escalle has curated a Northwest-inspired, seasonal breakfast and lunch menu that is made from scratch with locally-sourced ingredients. The cafe also offers a full espresso bar, including coffee sourced from two of the region’s finest roasters - Caffe Umbria of Seattle and Sleepy Monk of Cannon Beach. Specialty teas and cold beverages are also offered, well as pastries, cookies, and cakes which are all made from scratch each day.
