The HBA of Greater Toledo is an association of builders and associate member who provide services for the building industry. It is composed of approximately 300 member companies who believe that home ownership should be within the reach of every American family. Chartered in 1943, the organization is affiliated with the National Home Builders Association (www.nahb.org) and the Ohio Home Builders Association (www.ohiohba.com). The HBA of Greater Toledo is an active group dedicated to promoting and enhancing the professionalism of the building and associated industries in Northwest Ohio . This goal is achieved through strong support and representation of the industry in both the government and private sectors. The HBA of Greater Toledo is a nonprofit association governed by a body of elected directors. Individuals from the entire membership act as directors for the HBA. These members are responsible for the direction and success of the association. But, of course, they do not do it alone. A professional full-time staff performs the day-to-day business activities.
