Château La Villatade is a very ancient wine estate near Carcassonne in Languedoc. The owners, Richard & Sophie Andreelli, after 30 years spent in new technologies in Paris region, decided to move closer to nature, between vineyards and scrubland. Passionate about sustainable development, they manage their vineyard in accordance with the principles of biodynamics: a sustainable, clean and environmentally conscious viticulture. The wine estate is now HVE3 certified (organic & sustainable). The terroir in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, shared between shales and limestone, allows to produce wines with a unique expression. The production is around 40.000 bottles per year of highly rated wines, (White, Rosé and Red) in two main appellations: “Minervois” and “Pays d’Oc”. Our oenotouristic activity allows the travelers staying in our Chateau to discover the beautiful region we have here, to taste our wine, to walk in our vineyards and visit our cellar. Our cottages and guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for moments of relax and pure happiness with family or friends around a nice bottle of wine. We can host up to 25 people and our event room can host up to a hundred people for a family or company event.
