Aido digital smart service helps psychiatric patients become more adherent towards treatment.    Aido is a digital service that consists of smart pillbox and mobile application that enhances schizophrenia patients to become more adherent to their medication, thus reducing the amount of psychotic relapses and hospital admission days.    Currently Aido is in a co-operation with HUS - The Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa with advanced discussions to work together with other public health care providers.    Our aim at Aido is to improve the quality of life and enhance the treatment process amongst schizophrenia patients. Further, to save mental health costs, ease the communication between service provider and patient and finally collect patient data. We do this by improving patient adherence and lowering nonadherence effects in real time.
