Concordia Model United Nations was founded in 2010 by students with a common interest in International Politics. With the willingness to compete in numerous conferences yearly, it quickly grew into a popular academic club. Having attended conferences in Canada and across the world, students have proven their distinction through a plethora of awards. As it stands today, ConMUN is currently a fee levy group within the Concordia Student Union. Furthermore, it was accredited and incorporated in 2014. During the 2021-2022 period, ConMUN had its most successful year bringing home a plethora of awards, ranking Top 15th in North America and first in a Canada. ConMUN is a competitive club which seeks the attention of dedicated, professional and hardworking students. Delegates that are chosen to attend conferences represent the university as a whole, and in many cases, Canada as a country. While it can be a demanding organization to be a part of, the experiences delegates receive is wholeheartedly rewarding. It stimulates the brightest minds to work hard, achieve diplomacy, and most importantly, obtain success. Concordia Model United Nations is dedicated to providing students with the opportunities to compete in different Model United Nations conferences around the globe. Throughout our training programs as well as our events we provide our delegates with concrete tools that enable them to evolve into distinct and skilled individuals.
