Our world isn't designed to support a woman in the most important transitions of her life. Phoebe supports women from pregnancy through the return to work and beyond. We think becoming a mother is one of the hardest best things we go through because it changes us at our core—from the inside out. But what we read and the stories we hear focus on the outside in. They compare us to super-heroes, make us feel inadequate, or overwhelm us with content and products. None of them actually addresses our true needs. To create Phoebe, we spoke with >100 new mothers. We learned that every woman’s story is different, but the underlying wishes are the same. To have high quality information you can trust, support without judgment, a place to share your story and for it all to feel meaningful. This kind of space didn’t exist, so we decided to create it.
