It was then that Stefania, a former city recruitment and management consultant, had the idea to help those in the industry who needed it most and equip them with the skills necessary to help them better stand out in a very competitive beauty job market. Through further research, she found barbers and hair salons also suffered from the same skills gap in the candidates they fielded too, so naturally, Hidden Talent expanded into that space. The solution was to build a web platform which would be free for members to use where they have access to tutorials, articles full of advice from industry leaders who share their thoughts about what they are looking for in the ideal candidate, and what skills are valuable to them as business owners. Beyond the educational benefit of the site, Hidden Talent also posts jobs, many of which are exclusive and only advertised on the membership site.
