Following the successful Women’s Empowerment Club (WEC) project held at The American Center, Ho Chi Minh City. Since 2017, WEC has become the leading program that proposed an enhanced, innovative, impactful and sustainable approach in training over 200 Vietnamese mid-career women aged 25 - 40. The goals of the updated WEC programare to develop professional skills, enhance networks and empower the participants to deliver their own women’s empowerment activities, collaboratively or singly, to benefit other Vietnamese women, and the community in Ho Chi Minh City and environs. The program is sponsored by U.S Consulate General - Ho Chi Minh City.
