About The Academy by Lucy Walker Jewellery: The heart of Lucy's teaching methods are based on Albert Einstein's quote on simplicity - "Everything should be as simple as possible, but no simpler." Learning from the best, through every step of her jewellery career, Lucy feels strongly that her only option is to offer that same level of learning for students of The Academy. Through a modular series of ever-expanding classes and workshops, The Academy aims to develop jewellers and jewellery designers who are relevant in this age. By concentrating on traditional techniques paired with the latest in jewellery techniques, Lucy intends to ensure that every student of The Academy constantly learns and expands his/her creativity and expertise in the art of jewellery creation. The ultimate goal of The Academy is to create a circle of some of Malaysia's most creative jewellers.
