IEDEP is an institution that has the only specialized department of industrial engineering in the field of higher education. Given the growing need of the community for postgraduate education, the need for specialized education services, and the perceived vacuum of appropriate postgraduate services in industrial engineering, the Department of Industrial Research Engineering was formed to meet this need. At the forefront of this department's mission is to provide quality services in complementary industrial engineering higher education to the success of our students and graduates. One of the main strengths of this department is its continuous relationship with top professors and Arctic colleges in this field and focus on industrial engineering.
