Our Vision: To unite veterinary medicine through an innovative partnership between member states and corporate partners. SWVS provides unparalleled continuing education, unique opportunities for fellowship and knowledge sharing, promotion to the entire veterinary community and provides financial support to member states VMAs. Who Is SWVS? The Southwest Veterinary Symposium is a partnership combining the efforts of the Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas VMAs, and an allied partnership with the Alabama, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Tennessee VMAs, Oklahoma Veterinary Technician Association and Texas Association of Registered Veterinary Technicians to provide exceptional continuing education for veterinary professionals in our region and the rest of the nation! The annual symposium is held each fall in the Southwest and includes continuing education, exhibits, interactive labs, and social activities. We serve DVMs, RVTs, hospital personnel, veterinary and technician students, and the suppliers who provide the products and services that support veterinary medicine.
