The Grit News is an on tap new media house founded by a group of independent journalists, photojournalists, content creators, mental health scholars and artists with the unified goal of creating a platform, true to journalism. The platform by design, destines to procure to an inclusive audience irrespective of religion, class, caste, race, sexual identity or preference.The platform intendes to do so in an attempt to stamp out an environment of discrimination. Our reason is to serve accounts, for audiences who find it difficult to breathe in fake news and present dissatisfaction towards the click-bait crafts of yellow journalism. The Grit is a flexible platform which promotes niche discussions, ground reports, citizen accounts, critical scrutiny of policies and laws, unbiased truth and objective conversations, in times when ethical journalism is fated. The idea is to fairly use our right to free speech and act as the watchdogs of our society. Our platform will also be an open space for research scholars to publish, curate and promote unpublished or lesser known research papers for easy access to the audiences who wish to come by definitive information on issues in the times of overviews. The media house intends to take journalism back to the grounds, studios, nooks, remote corners of the country and more importantly back to the people. Lastly, The Grit News works towards building a safe space for people from all walks of life to exercise their right of reading and expressing free speech.
