GreenDice is a company focusing on the sustainable lifecycle management of IT equipment ranging from Personal Computers to workstations to laptops and monitors. While we have an oversupply here, there is a severe shortage of such equipment in schools and other areas. We want to ensure that when companies are buying equipment, they are pledging for the complete recycling of the products so that they can be used by others as well. Since we have already sold the same equipment, we don't intend to maximize our profit from the consumers who lack the opportunities. Instead of it we intend to bring as good quality of products to the much-needed areas of society. We popularize computers as a tools to educate yourself and inspire people to develop through the stories from the members of GreenDice. Right now computers are treated as consumables. They are manufactured, used and then discarded before they have reached the end of their life. Through GreenDice we want to create a service model where tech companies take responsibility for their products throughout their lifecycle. This will not just accelerate the green revolution but it will also ensure that we bring these digital tools to where they are needed the most.
