English with impact I’ve been a full-time translator for 25 years, and over the past decade, I’ve translated and edited high-profile communications materials for French companies including Alstom, CMA CGM, Danone and SNCF—annual reports, chairman’s speeches, press releases, website copy and more. Sometimes that means capturing the chairman’s inspiring vision--and sometimes it means making the fine print as clear and simple as it can be. Reading between the lines Nobody will take your words more seriously that I do, but I don’t deliver words—I deliver your message. I’m known among fellow translators for being able to grasp what a text really means and expressing it clearly and effectively. That means taking an intelligent approach to the document, looking past the surface, and crafting readable, elegant English that will connect you with your target audience. Small is beautiful I have a translation practice, not a company. I’ve stayed small by choice, so I can bring focus and personal attention to the message you need to deliver. I’m certified by the American Translators Association (ATA) for French-to-English translation, and I belong to both ATA and the International Association of Business Communicators.
