Carousel is a Research and Innovation project aiming at the creation of AI-driven characters who will be able to interact autonomously with a single person or a group of people in a meaningful way allowing the people to feel and dance with each other even if they are physically not in the same space! The project allows people scattered around in the world to feel happy and have fun by having physical and social contact. By doing so the project also may contribute reducing distressing feelings such as loneliness and isolation.
