Rehmat Photo Film
www.rehmatrayatt.comI'm an award-winning commercial, editorial and documentary photographer and filmmaker. I love meeting people and creating innovative digital content and my day-to-day work allows me to do that - you'll find my team and I making promotional content for businesses and individuals, creating precious photographs and films for families and a number of other commissions. I'm well versed in my craft and I love that no two days are the same as I work within so many different styles and disciplines. My most well known film is Toxification, a feature film documenting the plight of the Punjabi farmer. The film won Best Documentary at OIFFA in Canada, as well as being selected for three other film festivals globally. The film is critically acclaimed, having been featured in The Guardian and Times of India. The project was completely voluntary, and though heart-wrenchingly painful at times, it had long been a dream to see my film touch so many people and make a difference. Last year a film I directed about the diaspora experience was broadcast on BBC Four (search iPlayer for 'Terra Firma'). I've also had my photographs exhibited at the Southbank Centre and a number of other galleries, as well as being published in The Guardian and The Telegraph.
