Mission Statement: To provide leadership in Learning Disabilities for advocacy, research, education and services and to advance the full participation of children, youth, and adults with Learning Disabilities in today’s society. Program and Services: • Adaptive Technology Training Sessions/Day Camps (offered March Break & Summer) • ABC/123 Tutor Program (SK – Grade 6 Tutoring in numeracy and literacy) • Academic Coaching Programs/Workshops (LD and/or ADHD) • Adult Employment Preparation Program • Adult Support Group • Advocacy support service • Community and inter-agency networks and partnerships • Connecting diversity and Learning Disabilities awareness presentations • Education services and support • Job-Fit Program • Outreach Programs • Monthly Adult with Learning Disabilities Support Group • Monthly Parent Support Group • Parents Support Group • Professional referrals/directory • Public awareness meetings, conferences, workshops • Resource Centre/Library • Resource facilitating/support • Social Skills Program • SOAR transition program for grade 7 and 8 or ages 16 and up. *Seminars/Conferences/Workshops available throughout the year at the LDAYR
