The Boys & Girls Club Family Center's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. As a youth development organization and community partner, we understand education is one of the most effective interventions for improving the communities in which we serve. We help to fill the gap between schools’ increasingly limited after school activities and dinner time. The Boys & Girls Club Family Center has provided youth ages 2.9-18 with accessible after-school educational assistance and mentorship, ensuring that every child has an opportunity to succeed and that we are leveling the playing field of opportunity for all kids. We provide a safe place for kids that expose them to positive role models, guiding them to make positive choices and working together to help kids with fewer resources have the best possible chance at success. Through this mission we know we are changing lives and helping kids become more well-balanced youth who are involved in the community and turn into mentors themselves.
