Astute Doctor Education, Inc. was founded in 2009 with the vision of significantly improving patient experience through a unique approach to doctor education. Astute Doctor offers web based CME-certified courses for physicians and surgeons on the topic of communication and interpersonal skills, with special course editions available for residents, fellows and medical students. Astute Doctor’s 8 different courses are hosted on the Astute Doctor Learning Management System – a sophisticated software platform for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of web-based learning. Astute Doctor partners with health systems, hospitals, group practices, medical societies and malpractice insurers to provide education to doctors on the interpersonal techniques proven to build doctor-patient relationships, deliver excellent patient experience and quality health outcomes. Improving doctor interpersonal skill competence can also significantly reduce the costs of healthcare delivery and minimize the risk of medical malpractice litigation.
