We’re a London based fashion technology start-up set to transform access to luxury clothing & accessories through affordable rental and subscription packages. Forget the notion of outdated ballgown rental shops, our digital wardrobe will bring the latest fashion and trends to our members through a wide range of high-end clothing & accessories for all occasions. Members will gain the key to an exciting new wardrobe where they can experiment with different brands and styles without ownership risk or the hassle of cleaning and maintenance. We’ll offer them the opportunity to be unburdened by their wardrobe; to become UNOWNED. We believe that the use of innovative technology is key to enhancing our members’ experience. We have some exciting things planned for the future of UNOWNED, including a market leading digital experience, the roll out of ‘real-world’ sizing technology (at last clothes that fit!), and a state-of the-art warehousing and reverse logistics platform. Sustainability is more than just a trend. We understand that many consumers are concerned about the environmental impact of their fashion choices - as are we! It is estimated that around £30 billion of unused clothing is hanging in UK wardrobes, with reportedly 300,000 tonnes of textiles ending up in landfill each year. Renting or subscribing to luxury fashion and supporting sustainable brands reduces the current levels of consumption and our environmental impact.
