ARC is a nonprofit retreat center serving groups and individuals seeking time apart, rest, and spiritual renewal. ARC offers a quiet and reflective atmosphere for individuals and groups to slow down the pace of life, restore balance, and deepen relationships with self, others and the Divine/God/Spirit/Universal Energy. Our intentional community of volunteers is here to welcome you home, to nourish your mind, body and soul with quiet contemplation, homemade vegetarian meals and valued conversations. Our facilities include a log lodge (sleeps 15-18 guests), hermitage (space for 1), and cottage (sleeps 2-6).  ARC OFFERS: ninety acres of pristine wetlands and woodlands featuring majestic white pine forest. Trails for walking, skiing, snowshoeing. A labyrinth for walking meditation. Spiritual Direction, reiki or therapeutic massage (with advance notice). Homelike atmosphere in large group meeting spaces and private space for individuals. A secluded hermitage in the woods. A log-built cottage ideal for couples, families, or small groups. Healthy homemade meals featuring fresh ingredients, often organic or locally grown. Accommodation of special dietary needs. Twice-daily silent group meditation for those who wish to participate. Space and time apart for writers and artists to hone their craft. Environmentally friendly practices. A bookstore featuring new and used books and fair trade artisanal gifts.
