INESC P&D Brazil is a private nonprofit association with headquarters in Santos, São Paulo State, Brazil. It was created to foster R&D in Brazil and abroad in ICT, Energy and Industrial Management, joining institutions from Brazil together with INESC TEC in Portugal. It manages a network named Rede INESC Brasil, coupling INESC P&D Brasil with several Universities and with its twin European institution. These entities work in partnership on R&D projects, namely contracted by industry under the Brazilian R&D funding programmes. Some of the highest qualified Universities in Brazil have joined this association, with the purpose of implanting in Brazil the EU science and technology management model.
