In the United States, there are currently around 40,000 Veterans who live without safe, stable housing. These vets served our country, and the consequences for that service can often lead to complicated conditions like PTSD, which make it difficult for them to hold down a regular job or keep a roof over their heads. When they reach out for help, the government is forced to rely on a monopoly of slumlords who supply inadequate, unhealthy units; usually crammed together in rundown apartment complexes, too often neglected and surrounded by filth. Steadfast believes our Veterans deserve better! Modern construction techniques and materials have provided us with the ability to efficiently develop high quality, healthy housing that is safe and optimized to help our service members get back on their feet. Steadfast's priority is to replace the slumlords with peer-based communities of these small homes, so that our veterans can live with safety, comfort, and dignity.
