NSW State League Football Referees Inc is the premier refereeing body for the sport of football (soccer) in the State of New South Wales, Australia. We are located in Sydney and have a membership of some 140 elite referees and other match officals. NSW SLFR provides quality refereeing services for the elite, professional and semi-professional football competitions of Football NSW. Established in 1958 as the Australian Soccer Referees Federation (NSW Division) we became NSW State League Football Referees in 2008 to align with the changes to the structure and management of Football in Australia arising from the Crawford Report. We are committed to leading the way in referee development and strive to acheive this through our dedicated referee development programs including reciprocal exchanges with overseas referee associations. Through the expert advice and coaching we provide many of our members have progressed to higher honours of the Hyundai A-League and FIFA panels.
