Since 1946, the Ehrlich Family of Ladies and Gentlemen have taken great pride in passionately serving our guests. Our commitment to excellence is deeply rooted and driven by honesty, integrity and a commitment to always doing the right thing. The results of these efforts allow our guests to experience the Ehrlich Family Advantage. The Ehrlich family were German farmers who escaped Russia shortly after 1900 and sailed to the United States for a better life. They settled in Colorado and began breaking ground and seeking prosperity through good honest hard work. Reuben Ehrlich was the sixth of nine children born on the farm in 1929 and later became known as "Swede". In 1946, Swede Ehrlich opened Swede's Repair Shop in north Greeley as a one-man operation, deploying his natural skills and talent developed on the family farm. Swede moved to LaSalle in the 50's and started adding employees and selling used cars. He was sought out for for dual exhaust installations and built the first drag racer to break the 150 MPH barrier at altitude in Colorado In the 60's his family grew and so did his business. He entered the new car arena and moved into south Greeley in 1968. His youngest son, Scott, took over General Manager of the Nissan dealership in 1987 and purchased Toyota in 1999. Since then, Scott has expanded his Toyota relationship and with partner, John Motschall, they currently operate three Toyota dealerships. The Ehrlich family has enjoyed serving their customers for over 70 years. The employees and customers have always been their most precious asset.
