Founded by Dr. Teh-Ming Pao and Dr. Ying-Chao Lee in 1957 as Ming Chuan Junior Women's Commercial College, this was the first institution of higher learning for women in the area of business in this country. Ming Chuan University prides itself on providing an educational setting which attends to all students with parental care, support and guidance. We emphasize students’ moral development. By promoting diligent teaching and discipline along with a spirit of Honesty, Sincerity, Humility, and Determination, faculty members at Ming Chuan not only transfer knowledge but instill ethics.
