The Irish Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (ICCM) develops and fosters trade, services, education and investment between Ireland and Malaysia, while also offering a forum for the exchange of business views and experiences. ICCM has the following objectives: Networking: The activities of the ICCM include a mix of business and related social functions. Events organised by the ICCM include business presentations, seminars and dialogue sessions with relevant institutions both in Malaysia and Ireland. The social functions are a combination of informal gatherings and semi-formal events, designed to meet the needs of a diverse membership. These events allow the development of good business contacts, not only within the Irish business community in Malaysia, but also with other foreign companies, Malaysian counterparts and government bodies. Communication and Information: Latest developments in the business world and members’ news are communicated regularly. The ICCM also provides business information to our members, individuals and companies interested in expanding bilateral trade and services. The ICCM cooperates with the Irish Embassy and Irish Government agencies and business associations in providing these services. Profiles of all ICCM member companies, including the services they provide, will be distributed to members should they wish to avail of this resource. Representation: The ICCM aims to serve as a link with other chambers and organisations with similar objectives in Malaysia and in the wider Asia-Pacific region, such as the Asia Pacific Irish Business Forum and the European-Union Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (EUMCCI). Membership: Membership is open to any individual or company with international business interests. Membership is by invitation and is subject to approval by the committee. Corporate and individual membership fees are charged.
