Each IS asset is categorised by its nature: hardware, software, documentation, people, IP and physical and is then assessed according to its confidentiality, integrity and availability (CIA) levels in order to arrive at a risk rating. Once evaluated, the app allows the user to quantify the probability and business impact of potential threats, loss and damage and then take positive action to safeguard their IT security. The app covers more than just IS security. By fully embracing the latest ISO 27001 standard, the app delivers the 114 controls within the 35 control categories, as well as covering elements of GDPR. This allows a company to implement a Plan, Do, Check, Act - PDCA approach to its' Information Security and enables accredited auditors to review, test, confirm and certify the ISMS systems' compliance to ISO 27001.
