The network will be upgraded in the near future to accommodate 100 Gbps wavelengths. Initially, the total available capacity of the network will be 1.6Tbps. With future capacity upgrades available to 100Gbps per channel, the TransIndonesia Network will be capable of supporting a total capacity of 4Tbps on a fibre pair.
