Founded in 1966, the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) is an organization dedicated to the promotion of the reining horse. It serves as the standard setting body for the sport of Reining worldwide. NRHA promotes and encourages public interest in the western lifestyle through Reining Horse Shows; develops suitable and proper standards of performance and judging NRHA approved Reining Horse Contests; encourages the breeding of better Reining Horses; and provides contestants and spectators with information that better explains proper performance standards of Reining Horses Come join NRHA in executing our mission to grow the sport of Reining worldwide.
