SonoVol’s mission is to build tools that advance disease research and therapeutic discovery. The company was founded in in 2012, and is a spinout from the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. The team has developed numerous ultrasound-imaging technologies with direct commercial application to several disease research markets. SonoVol has sold multiple imaging systems deployed across the world.
