Medical FUSION (Frontier Ultrasound Imaging and Robotic Instrumentation) Laboratory focuses on: 1. Interface of medical robotics, sensing, and imaging. 2. Develop robotic assisted imaging systems and image-guided robotic interventional platforms 3. Ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging are two key modalities to be investigated and integrated with robotics. The Medical FUSION Lab is affiliated with the BME and RBE programs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
